Unique to knot toys and top of the range, the track in a box is exactly what the name suggests - open the box, place the two halves together and instantly create a road and rail track layout. The railway has the same guage as leading wooden railway tracks and all good quality battery powered trains run well on it. Similarly, most wooden cars and lorries from leading manufacturers happily run along the road layout. The railway line has an express track, a long siding, four sets of fixed points and two tunnels. The road layout has a station area for goods or passengers, a dual carriageway, a car park, two level crossings and one tunnel.

The track in a box will entertain parent and child alike for hours, with either a couple of trains/cars and a few wooden blocks or a whole range of accessories including road signs, trees, houses etc. Quick to build, easy to move and carry around and, importantly for little people, impossible to knock over or break up the track. Importantly for bigger people, track in a box is also a convenient storage box and carry case for all the trains, trucks and accessories when it is time to put everything away.
Made from high quality birch ply sides, easy-to-clean white melamine bases and chrome polished metal fittings, the knot toys track in a box is likely to be passed from one generation of apprentice transport chiefs to another, and then another.
