We include as much information as possible about a product in the long description on the product page itself. Usually, more detailed information like product sizing, age suitability and weight can be found towards the bottom of the page.
We offer a Gift Wrapping Service for some toys which is detailed on each product page. This enables you to choose the type of Gift Wrap that you would like your toy wrapped in. At the order checkout page you can state a different delivery address and if you would like a message added to your gift then you can tell us at the checkout stage too. We will then gift wrap and despatch the order to the delivery address and the receipt will be sent separately to you at the billing address you specify.
Occasionally some items will be out of stock or be removed from the site altogether if discontinued. If we are expecting a product to be back in stock within a few days we may leave it on the website with a message stating when we expect to receive it. If you order this item we will despatch it as soon as we have it back in stock.
All prices detailed on the website are inclusive of standard delivery costs for all UK mainland addresses. Courier delivery is available for UK addresses at the charge of £6. For overseas deliveries, the charge is based on the weight of your order as shown below:

All the prices on this website include UK VAT charged at the current rate. Knot Toys is VAT registered, number 842528229, and the amount of VAT paid on each order is detailed on your email receipt. Orders for delivery outside of the UK may be subject to customs or import duties once the package reaches its destination country. These additional charges for customs clearance must be borne by the recipient. We have no control over these charges and cannot predict what they may be. Customs policies vary widely from country to country; you may want to contact your local customs office for further information.

When you reach the final billing page and press 'Proceed to payment' you will be taken to the Secure Trading payment screen. Once you have entered your details we will immediately contact your bank/card issuer for authorisation to take payment from your account.
If the payment is authorised, you will receive an e-mail within a few minutes confirming your order and payment will be taken from your account shortly afterwards. If payment is authorised but we have a query with your order we will contact you by email or telephone using the contact information you have provided to us. If we are unable to resolve the query for any reason and cannot dispatch your order, a full refund will be issued back to your card.
If the payment is not authorised by your bank or card issuer, you will be able to try again in case you have entered your card details incorrectly.
As we are based in the UK, all charges shown on the website are GB pounds. If you are purchasing from overseas, your card issuer will convert the charge into your local currency.

We are also happy to accept cheques by post and will despatch goods once the cheque has cleared through our account. Within the UK, we estimate that you will receive your order within 7 working days of placing your order online. We try ro re-use clean packaging materials and boxes where possible and your parcel may arrive in a box that has been used before or branded with another product. We do this to keep our costs down and to help the environment. We generally use Royal Mail Second Class post or a tracked delivery service for delivery of our products and these methods can take up to 5 working days to reach you. For heavier products we may use a courier service and goods will need to be signed for or may be left with a neighbour is no-one is at the delivery address.
If your order has not yet been despatched then it may be possible to amend it. To make a change please e-mail email@example.com with your Order Number and include details of the amendment(s) required. We will then contact you to either confirm that the amendment has been processed, or to advise if it has not been possible to amend the order for any reason.
If your order has already been despatched then no order amendments are possible. You will need to return the order to us if you no longer require the item.
We may place some items on a special offer price. Unfortunately, we cannot advise you in advance of any price reductions or reimburse you the difference after you have placed an order.
Under the EC/UK Distance Selling Regulations you have the right to cancel your order for any item purchased from Knot Toys for a full refund provided that it is returned to us in its original state and with its packaging intact. Order cancellations must be made in writing, quoting your order number, within 7 days of delivery of your item(s), and can be sent by e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org
Once you have cancelled your order, the goods should be returned to us, in their original condition, within 14 days of receipt. The item is your responsibility until it reaches us. For your own protection, we recommend that you send the parcel using a delivery service that insures you for the value of the goods.
If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, simply return the item to us in it's original condition within 14 days of receipt. We will issue a full refund on receipt, or exchange the item if preferred. Please return items to:
Please allow 2 working days from receipt of a return for us to process a refund or an exchange. Once we have done this you will receive an email confirmation. Please allow a further 5-10 working days for the refund to be credited back to your credit card. This time frame is dictated by your bank or card issuer and is outside of our control. Your refund will be credited to the same card with which you made your original purchase. If for any reason this is not possible, i.e. the card had been declined or has expired, we will send a cheque to your billing address within 2 working days.
Please note that if you are returning an item to us for a refund or an exchange then the cost of returning the item to us is your responsibility. If you require a different product you will need to place a new order online and return the original item for a refund.
